A Cup with Jo

Good Morning Y’all and Happy Halloween,

I went to bed last night so excited for the day. I woke up ready to run through anything the day might bring me. Then I read a 5 AM text message from our daughter, the one that watches the two littles, letting me know she was sick, and wouldn’t make it to our house today. I blew it off for a couple hours, then once I knew people were awake, I started texting and messaging everyone my 7 AM brain could think of. I did manage to record my podcast, but didn’t stop to upload it, then went about the morning.

Still with no one available, I showered, got dressed, brushed my hair, dressed the kids, packed their stuff, and started driving towards a (recommended by many friends) drop off daycare 36 minutes away, and past my office, with still high hopes that one of three people, who hadn’t gotten back to me would say yes. I have mixed feelings about daycare.

Any who.. Got them dropped off, made it to my office meeting only 30 minutes late, and now I am sitting here trying to destress. Wish me luck.
